TP ANAYZER OVERVIEW
The Thoroughbred
Performance Analyzer uses raw Daily Racing
Form Data and converts that data into easily
evaluated Indexes. This data can be imported
from a Past Performance data file, or can be
manually entered from any Past Peformance
hard copy. The TP Analyzer generates a
multitude of Thoroughbred Handicapping
Factors. The TP Analyzer will generate a PACE
Index, a FINISH Index, a RACE Index, and an
Overall Performance Index (OPI). It can
adjust this Overall Performance Index to
reflect Class. This is noted by the TP
Analyzer as the Class Performance Index (CPI).
The TP Analyzer can handicap First Time
Starters, and Horses that lack any recent
North American Past Performance data. This is
accomplished in the Past Performance Data
form. Here you can make Class Adjustments,
Trip Adjustments, and edit any Past
Performance Running line.
The TP Analyzer will generate missing data
for horses whose Past Performance data was
generated at an "@ about distances".
The TP Analyzer is able to do this by
generating mythical interior fractonional
split times (based on the horses final time)
for races that have omitted this important
Fractional Split Time information.
The TP Analyzer can generate a complete
RaceCard Summary Report that can be printed,
or saved as a BMP file.
The TP Analyzer can generate custom Past
Performance Report that can to be printed,
viewed or saved.
The TP Analyzer 's exclusive Automatic Tote
Board is driven by both the Overall
Performance Index and the Class Performance
Index. The Tote Board will reflect in Odds to
a Dollar, the actual Chance of Success for
any given Horse. Those odds reflect the
Quality of the Competition, and the Size of
the Field
(Number of Horses). The Tote Board will prove
invaluable when Handicapping, and looking for
a good return on Investment (ROI). The odds
generated by the Tote Board are imported to
the Race Analysis. This form can be printed
for a permanent hard copy. Users can custom
sort this form before printing. The TP
Analyzer will import the Analyzer's projected
Top Three Selections to this print form.
From the Race Analysis , the TP Analyzer will
Handicap the race using proven time-tested
handicapping criteria. ie. It can identify
Races that contain a lone speed horse capable
of winning wire-to-wire, and can identify
Races that have an abundance of early speed
and only one or two closers. Each race is
Handicapped, Graded, and automatically posted
to the Graded Selections form.
The TP Analyzer will let you SAVE, or RECALL
any previously Analyzed Race. You can Edit
any Past Performance Data, or any previously
Analyzed Race.
Users can save and recall Horse to watch
information from the Horses To Watch form
TheTP Analyzer will generate the
