How
it Works and What it does
The Tote Board uses data
imported from the Race Analysis to generate the
"Chance of Success"
for every horse in today's
race. The odds reflect the Quality
of the Competition
and the Size of the
Field (number of
horses). It should prove
invaluable when Handicapping
and looking for a good return
on Investment (ROI).
Odds posted on the Tote Board
are exported to the Race Analysis and can be
viewed, sorted and printed
from there. Note! All Tote
Board Posted Odds are for
horses in that Post Position.
Horses that run as a coupled
entry are listed seperately
for each Post Position, and
do not reflect the odds that
would be generated for a
wager on more than one horse.
The actual odds for such a
coupling would be somewhat
less than the lowest odds for
the better half of the entry.
EXAMPLE : A
coupled entry with one horse
at 5-2 and the other horse at
10-1 would actually have a Chance
of Success of about
2-1.
EXAMPLE : The
same horse at 5-2 with a
coupled horse listed at 3-1,
This coupled entry would have
a Chance of Success
of about 8-5.
